Early Childhood Program Assistant Director

Sarah Charlick is the Assistant Director of the Early Childhood Program.  She began her journey at the ECP as a Lead Teacher in December 2018 and brings more than 20 years of experience working with young children.  During her time in the classroom, she worked with both young toddlers and preschool-aged children, fostering meaningful relationships with children and families while supporting each child’s growth and development.
Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social and Developmental Science with a concentration in Child Development.  She is known for bringing positivity, compassion, and a little extra sparkle to all that she does, whether she is supporting children, collaborating with staff, or connecting with families and the broader community.
Believing that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a lasting impact, Sarah is passionate about creating an environment where everyone feels valued, welcomed, and inspired.  She is dedicated to nurturing a culture of warmth, respect, and belonging throughout the ECP community.
Outside of work, she spends quality time with her wonderful niece, Callie and her St. Bernard, Ginni.  Sarah enjoys giving back through her volunteer work with organizations like Today is a Good Day and The SeriousFun Children’s Network.
In her leadership role, Sarah is excited to enhance ECP programming and curriculum in ways that strengthen Jewish values, foster kindness, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.  She looks forward to continuing to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families, and staff while helping the ECP community shine a little brighter each day.
