Rev. Monsignor Hugh Joseph Shields, known as Father Joe, will be our speaker for the Charry Service on Shabbat Hol HaMoed Sukkot and at kiddush in the sukkah. Father Joe will speak about his experiences welcoming and advocating for immigrants in Philadelphia, how he does this from the perspective of his faith, and how we might get involved through the New Sanctuary Movement, a local group of clergy and houses of worship that supports and advocates for immigrants.
