GJC’s own documentary filmmaker Sam Katz will show excerpts from his award-winning film about the bankruptcy of Detroit in 2013, will draw on his experience to identify financial warning signals for Philadelphia. Sam will pick out stories in the film that have relevance to present-day Philadelphia. He will relate some of those stories to the financial challenges that will face the new mayor when elected this November.
