Purim is getting MAGICAL at Germantown Jewish Centre!

--

11 year-old Esther has just received her letter to Chag-vartz School of Kesem (magic) and can’t wait to begin her first year. Once she arrives, she quickly learns that there’s more to being at Chag-wartz than the sorting kippah, being good at charms and potions, and winning the Kiddush Cup – there’s also something dark brewing behind the scenes, and Esther and her friends (whose names start with H, R & H) must work together to stop the evil plot before it’s too late! Grab your wand and join us as we tell the story of her 7 years at this magical school of witchcraft and experience the story of Purim like never before.

Come in costume and join in the fun on Sunday, March 17 at GJC’s annual family-friendly Purim extravaganza! The GJC Celebrates! Purim family megillah reading & schpiel will begin at 9:30 AM, and will be followed by lots and lots and LOTS of hamantaschen. The Purim Carnival starts swinging at 11 AM with a Moonbounce, Mini Golf, Super-Hoops, a clown, games, prizes, food, and more! ALL ARE WELCOME! Entry to the Carnival is Free – Pay per game!
