“JEWISH FEMINIST THEOLOGY OF LIBERATION”: WOMEN’S SHABBAT AFTERNOON PROGRAM

--

Today, we take women’s participation in Shabbat services for granted. Each year, on Women’s Shabbat, we remember and celebrate our growth and ownership of women’s place in the synagogue. Join in the Charry Sanctuary for an extraordinary Shabbat where all are welcome to continue this 42 year legacy.Women’s Scholar-in-Residence Shabbat is sponsored by Women of GJC and features special guest speaker Rabbi Annie Lewis. Rabbi Lewis is a passionate organizer, story-weaver, compassionate listener, and teacher of Torah of the heart.

Women’s Shabbat in the Charry Service begins at 9:30 AM in the Charry Sanctuary on Saturday, March 30. All are invited to kiddush in the Marcus Auditorium following services. Study session & discussion to follow kiddush: “Jewish Feminist Theology of Liberation” Childcare is extended through the afternoon program, and children’s supervision (age 6-12) is offered during the program.
