NEW, PACKAGED TOY DRIVE for the Immigrant/Refugee Children of Clients of HIAS-PA
- From December 7 until December 19, Germantown Jewish Centre will be hosting a new toy drive in support of the HIAS-PA. HIAS-PA has many immigrant and refugee families visiting their office for support and legal advice, often with their children in tow. They need NEW, PACKAGED toys to allow the children (of all ages) to play while their parents are meeting – and then take the toys home with them when they leave.
- Please use the bin in the Magil Chapel Lobby for these supplies. No opened or used toys can be accepted.
- Suggested donations:
- Dolls
- LEGO sets
- Matchbox/Hotwheel cars
- Board games (that don’t require English knowledge)
Assistance from GJC congregants at the end of the drive will be needed to sort and transport the toys to the HIAS-PA office in Center City. Contact Debbie Stern at debstern502@msn.com to help out.
