Join us for GJC’s 3rd annual PRIDE weekend, Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7!

 

FRIDAY NIGHT PRIDE
FRIDAY, JUNE 5

6:00 PM:  Come celebrate PRIDE at GJC! Festivities begin on Zoom at 6:00 PM with a Pride Sing-A-Long, Rainbow-themed Scavenger Hunt, and a Pride Fashion Show, then move into a family & kids JAM with Chana Rothman and Rabbi Richman!

6:45 PM:  Continue the celebration with Kol Zimrah, led by Rabbi Zeff and Nina Peskin, with LGBTQ members of the GJC community sharing thoughts, verses, stories, and readings.

 

PRIDE SHABBAT SERVICE featuring guest speaker Gwynn Kessler
SATURDAY, JUNE 6 AT 10:00 AM

Join us for Pride Shabbat, where we will honor and celebrate the vibrant queer thread that runs through the amazing tapestry that is our community of communities. We’ll share details on Gwynn Kessler’s Shabbat talk closer to the date!


TAKING PRIDE: STORY SHARING BY LGBTQ MEMBERS OF GJC

SUNDAY, JUNE 7 AT 1:00 PM

Join us for an intimate hour and special opportunity to hear personal stories of life-shaping moments on the LGBTQ journey. A special opportunity for honoring and supporting the diversity and commonality of the human LGBTQ experience.
