How do a wise old olive tree, a bird, friendship, and Havdalah connect together? Join Rabbi Adam Zeff at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 26 for a special Havdalah JAM where we will usher out the Sabbath Queen with a unique story that explores the moments that make Shabbat special and what can help us remember them. Each family will be given a signed copy of the book to take with them to continue the story at home.
This program is geared towards children aged infant-6 and their older siblings and grown-ups and enjoyed by those of any age. The program will take place INDOORS in GJC’s Maslow Auditorium. The program will last approximately 30 minutes and end with Havdalah.
- NEW Upgraded masks required for all. Please wear an N95 or KN95 mask, or double mask with a cloth mask over a surgical mask. (Children under 2 are not required to mask. Children 2-5 should wear as effective a mask as possible, and at least a surgical mask.)
- NEW Full vaccination required including boosters. Only those fully immunized including any boosters for which they are eligible may attend the program. (Children under 5 who are not yet eligible for vaccination may attend the program masked as above.)
GJC would like to extend thanks and gratitude to the Harold & Renee Berger Family Engagement Endowment Fund for sponsoring this event and to the Wolfe Family Foundation for their support in all GJC programming.
