GJC welcomes Anuj Gupta, General Manager of the Reading Terminal Market, to share the story of how this innovative project fosters connections between new and diverse Philadelphia communities while encouraging and strengthening connections   between communities across the city. Learn how project participants gain understanding of unfamiliar communities by exchanging cuisines and engaging in discussion over a series of dinners. A Mt. Airy resident and former Executive Director of Mt. Airy USA, Anuj will also talk about the Market’s other civic initiatives, including efforts to build relationships with immigrant communities and providing opportunities for them to introduce and sell food from their home countries and purchase from others.
