10:30 – 11:30 AM on Wednesdays, February 2, February 23, March 2, and March 9 (Zoom)

Join our weekly reading and discussion of various commentaries on the weekly Torah reading. The schedule of readings includes selections from The Social Justice Torah Commentary, The Heart of Torah, Torah Queeries: Weekly Commentaries on the Hebrew Bible, and The Torah: A Women’s Commentary. Each text is provided by email the afternoon/evening prior to the class meeting, and all essays are read during class together, so there is no need for advanced preparation. Our studies and discussions center on a quest for spiritual meaning drawn from learning and new insights. Our group meets on Zoom from 10:30 – 11:30 AM on Wednesdays, February 2, February 23, March 2, and March 9.

  • For GJC members, registration is $45/5-classes or $10/single class. For non-members, registration is $75/5-classes or $15/single class. As a courtesy to our highest level donors (Nediv Lev), registration fees are waived for all Koleinu Beit Midrash classes. Scholarships are available for GJC members.
