We’re excited to have you at GJC’s annual Friday Night PRIDE celebration! This year, we begin at 5:30 PM with interactive booths, and then move into “The Story of Us: A Shabbat Pride Journey” with Rabbi Alanna Sklover, Chana Rothman, and Philly Jewish Drag Queen extraordinaire, Eric Jaffe at 6:00 PM. This family & kids’ JAM will be filled with music, stories, puppets & more! The Sh’BBQ Potluck & Picnic begins at 6:30 PM, and features hamburgers & hotdogs donated by Grow & Behold with vegetarian options (all grills under TKS), and a selection of sides by Centre Catering. Please bring a pareve-only dish to share! We’ll end the evening with Kol Zimrah Under the Stars, a musical service with GJC’s ensemble, G’vanim and appreciations and gratitude in a Farewell to GJC’s Rabbi Alanna Sklover as she and her family looks forward to new adventures. We can’t wait to see you there!
