The rabbis of the Mishnah tell us that we, as individuals, must see ourselves as if we, personally, had left Egypt. But how, exactly, do we see or place ourselves into our collective liberation from Mitzrayim? In this pre-Passover learning session, rabbinical student and theatre artist Marques Hollie will explore this question through live musical performance and facilitated conversation.

Marques Hollie

Marques Hollie, they/he, is an operatically trained vocalist, ritual leader, theatre maker, rabbinical student, and maggid (a sacred storyteller in the Jewish tradition). He views Jewish practice and tradition as a container capable of holding multitudes, and much of their work focuses on the intersection of his identities as a Queer, Black, Jewish person.
