Shabbat Sha’baby

Welcome to Shabbat Sha'baby! This monthly Shabbat experience, for babies from birth to early walkers and their grown-ups, invites you to celebrate the special time of Shabbat with singing, movement, relaxation and play, and share and connect with other new parents and families. Come as you are for cuddles and community!

Shabbat Kid Space

A dedicated space for youth to play Shabbat-friendly games; some games will be provided, but kids are welcome to bring their own. Please respect the space, and clean up and put away the games after playing them.

Shabbat Together

Calling all families, children, and adults:  You are invited to join us to slow down and enter the space of Shabbat together in a relaxed atmosphere.  This 30-minute service in the Temin Canteen Room combines singing, story-telling, activities, and prayer to create a meaningful and playful engagement with Shabbat for all ages, led by Director

Shabbat Childcare

GJC is pleased to provide drop-off childcare, sponsored by Women of GJC and supervised by an Early Childhood Program teacher, on Shabbat mornings for children age 2-5.  Children play and read stories in one of the Early Childhood Program's rooms. No reservations are necessary. The teacher may be able to accommodate children under age 2

Charry Service: 6th Gr. Torah & 5th Gr. Haftarah

Led by Rabbi Zeff, this weekly service puts an emphasis on learning, with a shorter Shacharit prayer service and a longer period for study, led by the Rabbi and by members. The service meets in the Charry Sanctuary during the year, place where most of our Bar and Bat Mitzvah services and celebrations take place,

Musical Marching Minyan

We offer a high-spirited, action packed monthly musical prayer service for children younger than elementary school, but old enough to walk (or be carried by a willing adult!).
