Prayer is for every day, and GJC supports a weekday minyan service, including Torah reading when appropriate, on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday mornings throughout the year in the Magil Chapel. The service is led by members in rotation with the Rabbi, and the Rabbi gives a short teaching at the end of each service to
GJC's HAZAK (55+) group plans a few special day trips to cultural and natural sites in the area, often to places members have never been (like the Philadelphia Waterworks, Chanticleer Gardens, and the Philadelphia Fabric Museum), and plan tours to institutions such as the Kimmel Center and Academy of Music.

Preparing for Confirmation
Teens, 7-9th grade, deepen their Jewish learning by pursuing their passions and interests in our Hebrew high school program.
