Prayer is for every day, and GJC supports a weekday minyan service, including Torah reading when appropriate, on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday mornings throughout the year in the Magil Chapel. Kol Zimrah
This special musical service--literally, "the sound of singing"--is led in the Charry Sanctuary by Rabbi Zeff and Executive Director Nina Peskin singing in harmony, and it features new melodies and kavanot (short spiritual reflections) rather than a formal teaching. The service, which includes a drummer, invites us to enter the peaceful and reflective space of Shabbat by
