This member-led traditional egalitarian minyan puts an emphasis on a complete traditional prayer service. During the High Holidays, the minyan meets in the Marcus Auditorium, and all roles in the service are coordinated and filled by members.

Prayer is for every day, and GJC supports a weekday minyan service, including Torah reading when appropriate, on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday mornings throughout the year in the Magil Chapel. This service and potluck meets in different members' homes and features a song-filled Kabbalat Shabbat service and the opportunity to have Shabbat dinner and socialize together. We will publicize the location in advance, and we invite you to bring your favorite vegetarian dish and your Shabbat spirit to this informal gathering.
