The GJC Choir is an all-volunteer group of singers that performs at High Holiday services and at other holiday celebrations, programs, and community events throughout the year. People of the Book

GJC's Jewish book reading group reads fiction and nonfiction books of Jewish interest written mostly, but not solely, by Jewish writers and chosen by the group. Volunteer group members lead the discussion. For more information, please contact Nan at nanbmyers2@gmail.com.

Men’s Club Day at JRA

Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds meet as a community at JRA's northeast Philadelphia warehouse (10980 Dutton Road, adjacent to the NE Airport) to pack over 3000 boxes with fresh produce and non-perishable food, and deliver food and a smile into the homes of those in need.  All of these food packing events are important

Kol Nidrei Food Drive

Each year, GJC members donate more than 500 lbs of food to Philabundance through our Kol Nidrei Food Drive. Bring a bag or two of food by to the Philabundance truck on your way to Kol Nidrei services. All items should be unopened, canned, boxed, or bagged; please no glass jars or open containers. The
