Tikkun Leyl Shavuot: The World to Come

6:00 PM:  The Completion of Pirkei Avot (in person, online, and streaming)
Join Rabbi Zeff for an exploration of the final chapter of Pirkei Avot, where we will focus on “How to Acquire Torah.” This learning session will be held outdoors and in person at GJC, as well as accessible by Zoom and live video stream. If you would like to attend in person, you must pre-register.

7:00 PM:  Ma’ariv Service

Come welcome in the holiday! This service will directly follow the Pirkei Avot session, which will be held outdoors and in person at GJC, as well as accessible by Zoom and live video stream. If you would like to attend in person, you must pre-register.

8:00-11:00 PM:  Tikkun Leyl Shavuot – The World to Come (online/streaming only)
In celebration of revelation of Torah, we come together to learn as a community on the night of Shavuot. This year, our theme is “The World to Come,” and we are blessed to have five teachers guide us through what this theme means to each of them.

  • 7:45-8:00 PM:  Niggunim with Rabbi Rebecca Richman
  • 8:00-8:40 PM:  Josh Davidson
  • 8:45-9:25 PM:  Atenea Rosado and Mordechai Martin
  • 9:30-10:10 PM:  Rabbi Ezra Weinberg
  • 10:15-11:00 PM:  Hazzan Naomi Hirsch

PLEASE NOTE: If pre-registered and attending the outdoor portion of the evening, all participants will be required to wear a mask and maintain 6 feet of distance at all times. Please do not come if you are sick or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. In the event of rain, the study session and service will be held online only.
