The Supreme Court at a Crossroads

10/25/2020 @ 10/25/2020 - 10/25/2020 EDT

Event Navigation

The impending Senate confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court will likely provide conservatives with 6 out of 9 votes on the High Court and place in jeopardy many of the constitutional rights we hold dear. Join KATHRYN KOLBERT, public-interest attorney, journalist, and entrepreneurial leader who argued Planned Parenthood v. Casey before the Supreme Court, the 1992 case widely credited with saving Roe v. Wade; and former GJC President CHIP BECKER, an appellate attorney and partner at Kline & Specter, to discuss what the changes at the Supreme Court mean for the Affordable Care Act, women’s reproductive rights and politics going forward.

Sponsored by Women of GJC and the Men’s Club. Questions? Contact Marilyn Kraut at mkkraut1@gmail.com.
