Support Group: Helping Kids Navigate Online Learning

Third Thursday of the month, 8:00-9:00 PM

Do you find yourself taking extra long dog walks and showers just to get some alone time? Are you not sure where school screen time ends and recreational screen time begins? Are multiple rooms in your house spilling over with school supplies? This monthly group will carve out space for parents to problem-solve around the multitude of challenges that come with navigating online learning. We will learn from each others’ successes and missteps, and come together as a community to offer support and perspective. Martha Millison, LCSW is a long-time GJC member and a Mt. Airy native. She has spent the bulk of her career supporting children and their families as a school counselor and currently works at Green Woods Charter School.
