Support Group for Parents of Young Children

Every other Wednesday, 7:30-8:30 PM

Are you home all day with young children? Still doing your out-of-home job or not? Connect with early childhood professionals and parents for ideas, activities, strategies, and just sharing. Nini Engel is a school psychologist, working with preschool to fourth grade students. She’s also a parent of three grown daughters. She’s particularly interested in emotional regulation, executive functioning, play, mindfulness, and bibliotherapy. Tamar Magdovitz recently retired from 38 years of teaching, the past 28 of which were in a preschool and Parent Cooperative Nursery setting.  She is also a parent of two grown sons, and remembers their preschool days in vivid detail (although she may not know the author of the book she’s currently reading).
