Shai Held Book Club: “The Heart of Torah”

Join Rabbi Richman for a weekly book club, in which we will learn from and discuss Rabbi Shai Held’s 2-volume series, The Heart of Torah, a compilation of essays on the weekly Torah reading. The expectation is that everyone will have a copy of the book (available for purchase through the Jewish Publication Society and Amazon) and will read each week’s chapter in advance of our meeting. We will spend our time together discussing the essay(s) for that week and reading potent passages. This will be a great way to do some Torah learning and prepare for any drashot/Torah teachings you may need to give during the week or over Shabbat. The book club classes meet on Wednesdays, starting October 14, 2020 (46 meetings, continuing until Sep 15, 2021) from 10:00-11:00 AM. Please visit the registration link for details on tuition.
