Seeds of Torah: a Tu bi’Sh’vat Celebration with a special delivery!

Come learn, plant & create in the GJC Zoom Garden as we honor our connection to the Earth through the holiday of Tu BiSh’vat! Joyfully connect with congregants of all ages and to Jewish texts and music that remind us of our connection to the land, trees, and plants with which we share this planet. Receive guidance on planting your own seeds* in anticipation of the greener, warmer months to which we are all looking forward.
*On January 22, all GJC member households will receive a contactless delivery of a special Tu bi’Sh’vat gift (and GJC Directory) to use during this program or on your own. If you are out of town and need to make other arrangements to get your gift, please email program@germantownjewishcentre.org. Please note that gifts and directories for members who live out of state will be mailed. To sign up to be one of the delivery team, see below.
GJC needs your help with our congregation-wide delivery of Tu Bi’Sh’vat gifts (as well as our brand-new GJC Directory) on Friday, January 22nd! We are recruiting volunteers to help deliver gifts and Directories to all of our member households. The more volunteers we have, the easier the deliveries will be! All volunteers will be asked to pick up their deliveries at GJC on Friday morning, January 22, and make between 10-20 stops within a certain area on the same day.
