Refugee Shabbat will be observed in each minyan. Be sure to join our Refugee Justice program tomorrow, March 6, at 7:30 PM:
GJC’s Refugee Immigrant Justice Group welcomes Keynote Speaker Farwa Ahmadi, Director of Afghans of Philadelphia and INSPIRE Case Manager for the Nationalities Service Center. She has been featured in the Inquirer and WHYY for her leadership of Philadelphia’s Afghan community. The program will also include a policy update provided by HIAS and a preview of our plans to sponsor an Afghan family here in Philadelphia.
