Wondering What POWER’s Doing These Days? POWER launched in 2011 with a bold moral vision to confront injustice by bringing together thousands of Philadelphians across lines of race, class, neighborhood and faith tradition which have kept us divided.
This year, as POWER celebrates its 10th Anniversary bringing members of multi-denominational congregations from across the region together to make our communities better places to live, is a good time for GJC members to find out more about what POWER has accomplished and how we can participate and be part of its continued growth.
Join us on Zoom to learn about POWER campaigns for social justice and how you can get involved. POWER Lead organizer, Lilah Saber and campaign leaders from each of POWER’s Five Campaign areas will be available to tell you about the impact they’ve had on creating positive change and the work they’re doing this year.
