Pirkei Avot Community Study with members of the GJC community 

Join our community for a longstanding tradition (across the world and in our own GJC community) of studying Pirkei Avot in the weeks between Passover and Shavuot. Learning one chapter each week, we will guide each other through the whole masechet (tractate). No need to have studied this text (or any text) before — we will use translation to guide our study and the original text will also be available for those who would like. Don’t miss this sweet, community-driven tradition!
April 18 – Chapter 2 with Hazzan Naomi Hirsch
April 25 – Chapter 3 with Adina Abramowitz
May 2 – Chapter 4 with Rabbi Dayle Friedman and David Ferleger
May 9 – Chapter 5 with Rabbi Bob Tabak
** Study of Chapter 6 will be integrated into our Shavuot learning on Sunday, May 16. Stay tuned for details.
