Lighting of the Dancing Children Hanukiyah

The front lawn of Germantown Jewish Centre is once again home to the Dancing Children Hanukiyah.  Since 2000, GJC Men’s Club volunteers have assembled this unique, beautiful structure. Synagogue members and unaffiliated neighbors have come to look at this menorah as an integral part of the GJC community in winter, bringing light to the holiday and to the entire neighborhood.

Please join Men’s Club in sponsoring a candle in honor or memory of someone special in your life. Each night the names of those honored or remembered will be read. Lightings are at 7:00 PM on Nov. 28, 39, 30, Dec. 1, 2, 4, and 5, and at 4:00 PM on Friday, Dec. 3. Candles are $36/candle (checks made payable to GJC Men’s Club.) Funds collected support GJC Celebrates! Hanukah and numerous other Men’s Club programs. Thank you for helping to light the night!  Find the form here.
