Inside NPR’s Fresh Air (with Dave Davies)

Please join Men’s Club, Women of GJC, and HAZAK on Zoom for their “Welcome Back” and presentation by Dave Davies on Inside NPR’s Fresh Air with Terry Gross. Dave, a contributor and frequent host for the show, will talk about how guests are selected and how he and Terry Gross prepare for interviews. He’ll also play some of his memorable moments, including getting actress Maggie Smith to open up about her insecurities, and his interview with an author that literally changed her life. Dave has been a journalist in Philadelphia for four decades, covering state and local politics for WHYY-FM, KYW Newsradio, and the Philadelphia Daily News.
