HAZAK invites you to
BEING THERE: EXPLORING WAYS TO RESPOND WHEN GOOD FRIENDS ARE ILL
with Rina Rosenberg
Health challenges are a natural part of life, especially as we age. Hazak means strength, as you know. How does our strength come into play as we consider the challenges of showing up in the best way for friends who may face anything from a knee replacement to heart surgery to cancer? Join Wise Aging facilitator and GJC member Rina Rosenberg to explore this question and how these experiences impact our own aging process.
Rina Rosenberg, a former counselor, coach, and corporate consultant, presently is a facilitator for Wise Aging, a program presented under the auspices of the Institute of Jewish Spirituality. In these courses, she helps participants acquire conscious skills to both face the challenges of aging and appreciate the special contributions that elders can develop and make to future generations.
PLEASE NOTE: The schedule of online vs in-person events, as well as online links to services and events, are not posted here. Rather, daily, and weekly schedules are emailed to our member listserv. If you are not a GJC member but would like to receive these emails, please contact Program & Membership Director Kate Lawn at community@germantownjewishcentre.org to be added to our list.
