Grief Support Group

Facilitated by Neil Beresin, M.Ed., Grief Counselor and Interfaith Chaplain

Our group offers support and connection for community members who have experienced loss. You are welcome to be with us, no matter where you are in your process of mourning and grieving. Some may come with recent loss, and others may come having lost someone many years ago. Together, we will make space for one another to share and process what rests on our minds and in our hearts.

As a grief counselor and interfaith chaplain, Neil has worked with individuals and families in hospital and hospice settings, and approaches healing through multiple lenses including the philosophy of theologian and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, Buddhist nun Pema Chödrön, and the practice of mindfulness through poetry.
