Now more than ever, we need holiday celebrations to inspire and embolden us to turn our hearts, minds and efforts towards the earth and her creatures. Come and explore with Rabbi Ellen Bernstein as she shares the earthy wisdom of Passover through her new critically acclaimed haggadah, The Promise of the Land, and join with others around the world to create Earth Seders.
This weekly member-led Reconstructionist minyan puts an emphasis on singing, with a full P’sukei d’Zimra (preliminary service), and interactive discussion during the d’var Torah. The minyan meets in the Maslow Auditorium, and all roles in the service are coordinated and filled by members, who also organize social activities, study, and celebrations throughout the year.
