A Journey Through Jewish London with Rina Rosenberg

Join the Women of GJC for our own Rina Rosenberg’s personal anecdotes as a Jew growing up and living in London interwoven with moments of the long history of Jews in London. From the Jews expulsion in the 13th Century through the establishment of the Jews’ Free School in 1822 to compelling stories from today, you won’t want to miss hearing about familiar and surprising Jewish London traditions, customs, and affiliations. This is the first of our multi-session series of WGJC programs on Jews Around the World, followed in February with Jewish Uganda by Ellen Frankel and Howard Spodek’s Jewish India in March. Each of our presenters brings exceptional insights into these Jewish communities based on personal experiences.
