Since its founding, Israel has been home to a wide variety of different communities and cultures. This diversity has given rise to a multitude of rich opportunities, as well as complex challenges stemming from attempts to create a unified Israeli identity or to preserve the unique aspects of very different populations. In this session, we will get to know some of Israel’s diverse communities as well hear about successes and challenges of educators working to build a shared society.
