Feminist Midrash

7:00 – 8:30 PM on Tuesdays, March 8, 15, & 22 (Zoom)

Each session of this class will examine a different midrash from the book Dirshuni, and incredible collection of feminist midrash by modern Israeli women. We will examine these midrashim both on their own terms and to help us gain insight into the larger project of creating new Torah that speaks to us. This class is part of the Open Beit Midrash series and meets on Zoom from 7:00-8:30PM on Tuesdays, March 8, 15, & 22.
