When the Land Took its Rest: An Introduction to Shmita
Join us for this 3 part exploration of how Shmita holds enormous promise for society, the economy, and the environment. We will unpack the biblical understanding of farming, discover what the Shmita year is and how it relates to a wider blueprint that our tradition offers us to build a more just and equitable food system, and reflect on the ways its deep lessons can be meaningful for us as individuals and a community today.
