Today, we take women’s participation in Shabbat services for granted. Each year, on Women’s Shabbat, we remember and celebrate our growth and ownership of women’s place in the synagogue. Join us for an extraordinary Shabbat where all are welcome to continue this 45-year legacy.
Join GJC for Women’s Shabbat, featuring guest speaker Dr. Cheryl Bettigole, Health Commissioner of Philadelphia, who will present “Lessons from a Pandemic through the Lens of Tradition” during the service. All are invited to join together for kiddush in the Marcus Auditorium following services.
