Shofar JAM!

Get ready to make a joyful sound at GJC’s Shofar JAM! The shofar is blown all throughout the month of Elul in preparation for Rosh ha-Shanah, so come help us get ready for the new year! We will hear a special story that Rabbi Adam told his own children when they were young, and then we will do a little learning, hearing, and blowing with Master of the Blast Phill Goldberg, who has been teaching and blowing the shofar at GJC for many years.

Reserve your group’s individual pod complete with kid-size shofars for making those joyful sounds! The pods will help our families gather together safely, and all items in your pod are yours to take home after the program. Masks are required for those who are of the age to wear them. This program is geared towards children age 0-6 and their older siblings and grown-ups, and enjoyed by those of any age! You must pre-register to attend, and registration will close on Friday, August 6 at 10:00 AM.
