Havdalah: A Time to Be Together

As the daylight dwindles and the weather cools, let us turn inward to the warmth of our community. Each week until mid-March we will mark havdalah as a community. Havdalah is a short ritual that marks the end of Shabbat, our day of rest. Through blessing, song, and story, we will dwell together in the sacred moments between Shabbat and the new week. You are invited to tune in with havdalah materials if you have them (a kiddush cup with some wine or grape juice, a havdalah candle, and spices) so that we can make our blessings together. There will be a chance to say Kaddish at the end of our gathering. Children are most welcome!
