In partnership with GJC, Mishkan Shalom, P'nai Or, Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and Tikkun Olam Chavurah...
Celebrate the holiday of Shavuot by coming together to explore themes of wandering and settling. We will ask ourselves, "How are we responding to those who are wandering and marginalized today?" As we learn in mind, body, and heart throughout the evening, enjoy delicious hors d'ouevres and dairy snacks throughout the evening. Stay for some or all of the evening, concluding with a sunrise service. All are welcome!
We will be holding a Septa Transpass Drive supporting HIAS-PA and our refugee communities. The schedule for the evening is as follows:
7:00 PM: Plenary & Group Explorations
8:00 PM: Ma'ariv 8:30 PM: Community & Nosh
9:00 PM: Learning Sessions & Beit Midrash
12:00 AM: Controversial. Creative. The Reading of Ezekiel.
