High Holiday Tickets

Member Tickets: GJC membership entitles the household to tickets for each adult. Tickets are not transferable. All members in good standing receive paperless e-tickets to our services. There is no need to show these tickets at the door. Children (through college-age) of members in good standing are welcome to GJC for the high holidays (no tickets required). Tickets are available for graduate students who are children of members for $36.

  • Reciprocity:  If you are a GJC member in good standing and will be traveling to a synagogue that offers reciprocal tickets for the High Holidays, the GJC office can provide a letter to that synagogue to let them know that you are a member in good standing and that you should receive free High Holiday tickets. Please request this letter through Beth McTear at office@germantownjewishcentre.org.

Purchase High Holiday Guest Tickets (GJC Members)

Tickets have a suggested donation of $200 per ticket.  The suggested donation for students (undergraduate or graduate) is $36. Of course, finances are never a barrier to joining us for the High Holidays – if you would like guest tickets but need to donate a different amount, we encourage you to email Rebecca Paquet at administrative@germantownjewishcentre.org.

  • Reciprocity:  Germantown Jewish Centre participates in a High Holiday ticket reciprocity program, so if your guests are members in good standing at another synagogue, they are eligible for free tickets at GJC. To receive the tickets, please provide a letter from their synagogue stating that they are members in good standing. This letter can be emailed to office@germantownjewishcentre.org.

Purchase High Holiday Guest Tickets (Non Members)

Tickets have a suggested donation of $200 per ticket. This contribution will be applied toward membership if you become members before January 1, 2023. The suggested donation for students (undergraduate or graduate) is $36. Of course, finances are never a barrier to joining us for the High Holidays – if you would like tickets but need to donate a different amount, we encourage you to email Rebecca Paquet at  administrative@germantownjewishcentre.org. While tickets are available to the general public, we encourage you to join our community in advance of the Holidays. Membership comes with many benefits and begins with a simple conversation. Kate Lawn, Program & Membership Director, is more than happy to talk to you. She can be reached at community@germantownjewishcentre.org.
