Lighting of the Dancing Children Hanukiyah

The front lawn of Germantown Jewish Centre is once again home to the Dancing Children Hanukiyah. Since 2000, GJC Men’s Club volunteers have assembled this unique, beautiful structure. Synagogue members and unaffiliated neighbors have come to look at this menorah as an integral part of the GJC community in winter, bringing light to the holiday and to the entire neighborhood.
The Men’s Club welcomes you to sponsor a candle in honor or in memory of someone special in your life. Each night at the lighting the names of those honored or remembered will be read. The candles are $36 to sponsor, and funds collected support various programs and activities at GJC. Find the form here.
