Kabbalat Shabbat

This spirited service in the Maslow Auditorium is led by volunteer members who lead us in singing the psalms of Kabbalat Shabbat–and this community loves to sing! The Rabbi offers a short teaching before we move on to the Ma’ariv (evening) service, which we again sing and chant together. The service lasts approximately one hour, and the variety of melodies that members bring, the spirit of the singing, and the warmth of the community make this a wonderful way to make the transition from the work week to Shabbat.
