Germantown Jewish Centre offers dynamic learning experiences for our High School aged students. Teen Institute encompasses three separate programs: The Teen Institute classes, Confirmation Class, and the Three Things Institute.
TEEN INSTITUTE
Teen Institute classes are intended for students in 8th and 9th grade. These classes meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Classes include sessions by grade level, electives, and joint classes with the entire student body. Tuition is $800 for the year.

CONFIRMATION CLASS
For 10th grade GJC students, a curriculum which emphasizes study of Comparative Judasim and Comparative Religion is taught by staff and GJC Rabbis. The year of study concludes with the study of the Book of Ruth and Teen ethics and an Erev Shavuot ceremony in May.

THREE THINGS INSTITUTE
The Three Things Institute outlines a program of involvment which is expected from young adults as part of the GJC community. The program consists of study, service to GJC, and social action activity devoted to the larger community. Successful completion of requirements result in eligibility for a subsidy for the annual GJC Teen Trip.
